Salty and nutty, meyer lemon. Touch sour mandarine. What’s not to like. 13.31%. Sadly this cuvée is not made any more. 😩. And prices have gone up for this stellar Oregon Chard expert. In fact they exploded! Not surprising one of his Chards did get 100 points. It’s great to find these gems/wineries before they take off. His other more expensive Chards are like top shelf Burghs. — a month ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed with dinner at Mycelium. No formal notes due to the setting. This had powerful notes of grapefruit and pineapple in near equal parts with a bit of lemongrass as well. Plenty of acid to work well throughout the meal (which was spectacular). Drink now. — 9 months ago

Fruit for this Pinot comes from two of the coolest, most coastal parts of this appellation, linked by the influence of the Pacific’s cool marine air, which delays ripening. Ruby with berry fruit, citrus and floral spice. On the palate, strawberry and cherry, tangy, with cedar notes and earthy tones. Bright acidity, soft expressive tannins, long finish ending with tobacco and woody spice. Very nice, drink now & over next 5 years. — 4 years ago
