Needs time to open up for the pyrazines to integrate but this is a very pretty North American Cab Franc. Certainly Loire-inspired. — 3 years ago
True to the tasting notes, very citrusy with a strong passion fruit flavor. A bit more tart than other more fruity New Zealand Whites. — 4 months ago
Nosey banger. Thick and fruity and dark — 2 years ago
Love this. Very aromatic and rich. — 4 years ago
Really ripe, pushing the border of what I like, but it stays on the right side of it. It has enough earthiness and acidity to provide balance. — 4 years ago
Fantastically crisp. Works well with the Caribbean spices at this excellent restaurant. The wine has notes of rhubarb and citrus, with aftertaste that lingers. Floral to the nose. — 2 years ago
Fruit comes from the coolest coastal parts of this appellation, linked by the influence of the Pacific’s cool marine air, which delays ripening. Ruby with rich berry fruit, citrus and floral spice. On the palate, strawberry and cherry, tangy, with cedar notes and earthy tones. Bright acidity, soft expressive tannins, long finish ending with mineral and cedar spice. Very nice, drink now & over next 5 years. — 4 years ago
Pinotman /// Andreas
Salty and nutty, meyer lemon. Touch sour mandarine. What’s not to like. 13.31%. Sadly this cuvée is not made any more. 😩. And prices have gone up for this stellar Oregon Chard expert. In fact they exploded! Not surprising one of his Chards did get 100 points. It’s great to find these gems/wineries before they take off. His other more expensive Chards are like top shelf Burghs. — 2 months ago
