@Chris MacLean not sure this is exactly the same label you had with @Sarah Bignami
I did sourced it from callmewine and i am happy enough though
What fascinated me was the corrispondence with the territorial elements so common in the surrounding
I found raspberries and wild apples, licorice, elderflower and fennel seeds and these are all parfumes you meet in the area
The tannin was lean and there is a nice mineral too.
Fairly long and enjoyable
It needed time to open up
Definitely worth the money
😊🍷🙏
Thanks @Chris MacLean and @Sarah Bignami

Thanks to @Chris MacLean for flagging the NYT article on dolcetto’s by Eric Asimov. This was his pick. Vicki and I both could possibly see what he saw. It was perhaps more focused and elegant than the more abundant San Fereolo. I would like them equally, and pair them slightly differently. I’m grateful for the steer toward dolcetto right now, and discovering examples I really love. — 4 years ago
Wife would not let me pour this on her cheesecake @Chris MacLean so I had to drink all of it. Wow. — a year ago
Immediately after opening it was restrained, but two days later it was glorious if only for a few moments. Thanks, @Chris MacLean ! — 2 years ago
Surprising depth and acid. Perfect with Branzino! @Chris MacLean — 3 years ago
Recommended by @Chris MacLean and @Gianluct Torellix Thanks guys! This turned my dolcetto frown upside down. Elegant and expressive. Got it from MacArthur after cmac’s email. — 4 years ago
The best expression of dolcetto I’ve had. It was even better on the third day. Thanks @Chris MacLean ! — 2 years ago
Agree with @Chris MacLean : peppery. I’ve not had many wines like this, and loved the expansion of my experience. — 2 years ago
