I completely agree with@Chris Maclean here. For an entry level #Barolo this is wonderful. Smooth and polished and so varietal. It’s pale color and smooth tannins beguile, it definitely has structure and fruit concentration to age.

I’m loving 2016s from northern Italy, especially reasonably priced entry level bottles like this Barolo. It’s crisp enough to drink well now, but there’s plenty of structure for the cellar.
