Tawny 20 Anos Porto Port Blend

NV. The Boiler Room team had this as their pairing with the tasting menu desert course and it sounded great with the mocha macaron with caramel and toasted almonds. It was a great finish to a great meal. — 4 months ago

La Tradizione Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato Ruche

Almost perfumery on the nose with red rose, Violet, yellower flower bouquet when first opened. Red cherry, licorice, med+ body with touch of plum, prune and raisiny finish, mineral and dusty. Med to med +acidity, med to med-tannin. Could pair well with spicy fragrant Chinese spicy food, tomato mozzarella cheese with basil salad, Rose macaron, beets with orange and onion salad with aged balsamic vinegar. — 7 years ago

10 Years Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Cinnamon-apple, marshmallow, chocolate macaron, oregano and peppermint nose. Smooth entry with cold coffee, cedar, tobacco leaf, cherry stem, bakers chocolate, black currant, toast, camphor that lingers eternally on a mouth-numbing journey. — 8 years ago

“Watermelon pepper pickle juice Briney love cake”

“Ok, the aroma...hold on...the aroma is like they made really accurate smelly markers...to the tune of melon...and lemon...taste is like...watermelon jolly ranchers...with the delicacy of a Ladurée macaron”

Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Very complex white. Honey and honeydew melon on the nose. Stone fruits, lemon curd, and a semi dry mineral finish. Perfect with dim sum and a chocolate orange macaron for dessert! 2015 vintage — 7 years ago

L'Ecume des Nuits Cabernet Franc Blend

This wine just speaks to me. The second bottle we had and just hits every note. Light but complex. Blackberry and pepper but ends light with slow beautiful drawn out note of lemon curd in a macaron. — 3 years ago

'Melon' Melon de Bourgogne 2015

A little reduced on the nose, with dried apricots, ripe nectarines, and Macaron almonds fleshing out the bouquet. Smooth and soft on entry, with Bosc pears, ripe Key limes, and orchid flower filling out the palate. A little hot, but enjoyable. — 7 years ago
