Almost perfumery on the nose with red rose, Violet, yellower flower bouquet when first opened. Red cherry, licorice, med+ body with touch of plum, prune and raisiny finish, mineral and dusty. Med to med +acidity, med to med-tannin. Could pair well with spicy fragrant Chinese spicy food, tomato mozzarella cheese with basil salad, Rose macaron, beets with orange and onion salad with aged balsamic vinegar.

Incredible, penetrating aromas of ripe red cherries, floral cherry blossom and spice. Could smell this unique wine all night. Very tasty with but a bit decadent. Was a perfect pairing with cherry pie dessert.

Just f*ing drink it.

Grignolino is a great light red wine perfect for meat and fish

Very well put together, but not to my taste - quite perfumed, with more than a hint of parma violets

Rustic red and black cherry, black pepper and medium everything except for alcohol which is a little hot

A first for me. I'm excited to try a Piedmontese red other than Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto (though I could die content with those three). This is all about fresh red fruit, particularly strawberry, and some grapefruit. Muted spices round out the palate. A quick finish but that's what I want from this wine. It is molto caldo in the Veneto so this is the perfect summer red. Salute!

This is a very versatile wine that was able to span the entire meal comfortably.
