Bought online. Drank at the cabin November 2019. Very tart, similar to a sour beer. I like it but I’m waiting to see how it opens up. — 2 months ago
Something different. Bit hot and very foursquare, but not trying to be anything else. Ideal for a ragout. — 3 months ago
Great tartness at the front and a lingering sweet, fruity taste. Perfect with risotto or starches — 3 months ago

#Italianwine 🍇. Blend change. Two of my fav grapes. Sangiovese and Merlot grapes make a magnificent blend. Full body, elegant and earthy fragrance., dry finish, perfect balance. So elegant! We met Luca, the winemaker. He explained his production and region. Was excited. Interesting. @pignettis — 4 months ago

Luca Maroni rated this 97. My first thought was who? ‘Among the best white wines tasted this year.’
After tasting this falanghina, I can tell you it’s not a 97...
But he’s right. It’s fantastic.
Pear. Honey. Perfect amount of acidity.

A good Italian red. Fairly lightly spiced cherry fruit up front, but this wine does have some grip on the back end. — 4 months ago
