Didn’t see my love for this lovely NY wine coming. Just popped something for dinner and yay! Fresh, bright cherries and raspberry, tangy and a tad effervescent even, floral and fruity through the end. And at a merciful 12% it is sooooo welcome for spring. — 14 days ago
Lemon, sweet grass, honeydew, watermelon, sourdough bread, red currant, fennel — 2 days ago
Strong lychee, grass scent. Refreshing flavor, strong acidity as a lemonade. Enjoy with seafood pasta. It would be better without dishes. Acidity is getting stronger later and I enjoyed it❤️ ₩19900 @emart — 6 days ago
Very vinous, this one. Completely dry. An excellent cider. Wild apples rasterized. They do not grow these apples, they gather them from disused sites in Long Island. It’s a very cool project, but the cider that comes out of it is better than any I’ve had. I tend not to like cider, but again, this is the most vinous cider I’ve had. This bottle has a light effervescence, which these don’t usually have, usually they’re fermented totally dry and fermentation is complete and still. Could be this had a touch of rs on bottling, but it was totally dry upon opening. A fine effervescence that ends with an iodine note and some tongue coating tannins, some galangal, mint, and cinnamon verum, which are also on the nose, with lemon oil and raw sourdough. Some white cherries and neroli flavors on the tongue, and good acid, lift, and fine tannins that keep you coming back for more. This is excellent cider, full stop. Pale straw color in the glass.
Nose has fresh lime pith, warmed peach, peppermint candy, recently crushed slate, tart green apple peel, (light) petrol and citrus blossom.
Palate has crushed limestone, slate powder, orange pith, under-ripe peach, warmed green apple and slight pineapple core. Quite dry on the finish, runs a full minute plus, fun salty traits. Decanted +60m.
Likely a long life for this bottle, easily held in proper storage until 2030+.
Purchased at the winery in Nov. 2016, $27.
This Riesling is made with grapes grown in “block 3”, the oldest (1968 plantings), steepest and most shale-laden section of the winery’s estate vineyard on Keuka Lake.
Day 4 Update: Nose has dried lemon peel, cut peach and dried pineapple, sweetened. Palate has fresh cut orange, fresh pineapple and a mild chalky finish. Fun evolution. — 16 days ago

Tasted May 2012. Beautiful bright apricot Riesling with semi sweet notes. 90 — 9 hours ago
This full bodied Estate Selection Merlot is wonderful and well worth it’s price point. It’s full of black cherries and red plums. It’s the North Forth at its best! — 12 days ago
