Nice taste, not at all a red wine taste — 3 months ago
Vintage 2018 | Is it thanks to climate change that wines from Northern Europe - Luxemburg, Belgium and my own country the Netherlands - can be quite astonishing. This monastery wine is made from Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris and has an seductive smell with hints from passionfruit, pear and sechuan pepper. The taste has predominantly a splashing citrusfruit with nice acidity. Very good effort. Paired with figs/ham as appetizer and a Liege Salad. — 5 months ago
Vintage 2018 | Extremely well done, this red wine from Regent, Rondo and Cabernet Cortis. Made in Holland just against the borderline with Belgium. Ripened on American oak. Dark colour with purple rim. 2/4 transparant. Laurel in smell, raspberry in taste, tannins give the wine a bite, lovely. Drank it during dinner with a trufflesaucage, Vermicelli con acciughe, aglio e olio (vermicelli, anchovy, garlic and olive oil) and roquefort cheese. Made us happy. — a month ago
Wine bought from my favourite wine trader in the Netherlands years ago Joop from the North! One of a kind and he always travels with a smile 😄 the wine is just like Joop, delicate and firm in a glass, delicate and smooth with great impressions of tenderness. We drink this wine with great joy, great with cauliflower and cheese sauce compared by rösti 😋 a satisfying meal and drink for the Queen and I. — 8 days ago
At Restaurant “Hunker” Sittard- The Netherlands!
A blend of 50%Cariñena, 30%Garnacha Tinta, 10%Cabernet Franc and 10%Syrah
On the nose fresh aromas of juicy red and black fruits, cedar, herbs, creamy notes and a touch chocolate, on the medium to full bodied palate mature and meaty ripe fruit, herbs like thyme, rosemary are present, good acidity and ripe tannin, need some time to get fuly balanced 93DSP — 2 months ago
