Had w steak. Accessible, good bit/tannins but not over the top, some blue berry undertones.
Likely buy again
,"reds joust spectacularly with the kinds of dishes you think about when there is a cool spring evening that might call for a fire pit— steaks, grilled vegetables, burgers—but the perfect pairing is a rich, slow-cooked Daube de Boeuf, the classic red wine–beef stew of the region." — 2 years ago
2020 nice year. Had with Thai. Paired lovely. Fruity but over powered. Nice plum and cran. — 7 months ago
Smoky. Dark. Inky. Leathery. Good legs and a blueish purple color. Dry, with leather on palate, and a deep blackberry and licorice taste that pairs well with pecans. — 3 years ago
In mag, at a perfect spot. Velvety tannins, herbaceous, prunes. — 2 months ago

2008 vintage. A bit yeasty at the onset but that receded into the background relatively quickly. Plenty of power/acidity afoot with no danger of this getting flabby in this decade-or the next. Medium/medium-heavy body. Personally prefer the rosé effort of this but not too shabby for a vintage BDB. 10.17.25. — 2 days ago
