Le Lune Del Vesuvio

Domaine Oinea

Lune Noire Extra Brut

First time trying this Greek sparkling, which was 90% xynomavro and 10% assyrtiko (and it was not rosé). Very interesting! — 13 days ago

Villa Dora

Vigna del Vulcano Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco Falanghina Coda di Volpe 2017

Volcanic? Definitely needs food. Lots of acid and minerals. — a month ago

Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Rosso Piedirosso

Nice, engaging red Italian wine.

I'm curious about the grapes. Vintage may have been 2019.

We had it before and with pizza

Ferme de la Sansonnière (Mark Angeli)

La Lune Anjou Chenin Blanc 2018

Fleshy apricot and baked apple, coursing with salty mineral and savory undertones. Barely off-dry in this vintage, but quite rich. Probably better to revisit in a couple years. — 2 months ago

Domaine de Chevalier

Clos des Lunes Lune d'Argent Bordeaux Blanc Sec Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2018

Kinda forgot how white Bordeaux is a bit of a sleeper when it comes to summer whites. A bit sleeker & more crystalline than my top dog White Bordeaux, but still fresh white flowers, some marzipan, & distant cut grass. Heavier on Semillion blend, which is my preference. — 10 days ago
