Enjoyed lining up this Syrah alongside another from the same vineyard under a different winemaker. Still fascinates me how fruit from the same area is so different from one winemaker to another, both being equally awesome — 5 years ago
A GSM blend from @Michael Larner Dark fruits with smoky & spice. Paired with a cast iron seared rib-eye — 5 years ago
Great central coast Syrah from Michael Larner in Ballard Canyon. This area is overlooked snd should not be. This is a delicious, rich snd nuanced Syrah that you will enjoy. Get it if you can — 5 years ago
Spectacular GSM blend....I enjoy how the Syrah adds so much to this wine — 7 years ago

Perfect wine to keep my quenched while grilling!!! Thanks @Michael Larner — 5 years ago
Great example of a New World malvasia. Outpaces what Steve Clifton at Palmina does with this varietal in terms of depth and length (chalk that up to winemaker’s preference). No idea about how well it might age, but I wouldn’t bother waiting! — 6 years ago

2016 Vintage. Wine of the night and consistent with my prior notes. — 7 years ago
Dense , definitely will compare to good chateauneuf du pape. Need to open a couple hrs before drinking — 7 months ago
Second bottle was outstanding. Olive brine, blackberries, crushed dried flowers, plum, more forest/woodsy flavors. Lingering finish. To me this is better than pax Sonoma hillside 2018. It has more fruit but still this awesome herbal, flower, olive component. Less game. — 3 years ago
With a grilled rib-eye!!! — 5 years ago
Great Grenache from Ballard Canyon to go with Bolognese for dinner — 5 years ago
Great Syrah from @Michael Larner , perfectly balanced!! — 5 years ago
The 2017 Andremily Mourvedre is a blend of 88% Mourvedre from the Alta Mesa, and Larner Vineyards, co-fermented with 3% Viognier, and polished off with a touch of Syrah from the White Hawk Vineyard.,
Forgot I still had 2 more bottles. Nice Monday night football 🏈 wine.

2023: Whole cluster grenache, so more herbaceous and floral than fruity. Soft tannins. Served it slightly chilled with burritos - really fun, crushable wine. — a month ago
