2019 vintage. 100% Freisa, which is similar to Nebbiolo. Aged 18 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Other DOC and DOCG wines produced in this area, Barbera d'Alba, Barolo
Barbaresco, Dolcetto d'Alba. Blackberries, mint, pencil lead on the nose. Great structure, mouth drying tannins, plum, blackberries, and spices. really nice. — a month ago

Coconut! Cherries and licorice, light rust colored and translucent, lively, well balanced, great Nebbiolo! — 2 months ago
This is the G.D. Vajra Rosa Bella (2023). It was made from mostly Nebbiolo grapes and, to a lesser extent, Dolcetto and Barera.
It has a beautiful combination of freshness and vivacity with bright red-berried, hibiscus, watermelon rind, and oyster shell characteristics. It’s crisp and delicious with medium alcohol (13.5% ABV) and bright acidity.
The winemaker’s tasting notes refer to a “sapidity” in this wine, which is defined as “a pleasant flavor,” but I have now learned that in winespeak this means a pleasing saline, mineral, and savory quality, which is absolutely evident in this glass. — 23 days ago
Beautiful and light with just a super light tannin finish. Another great bottle barn find. — 19 days ago
Crisp; hits the back of your throat. A bit calmer than a Pinot Grigio. All in all, would be getting again. — a month ago
