This is such a great wine!! I’m so impressed. Wasn’t expecting much out of it, but thoroughly wowed me. Super smooth and easy to drink - beautiful, soft notes, fruit, subtle hints of floral. one of the best random picks I’ve had in a long time — 2 months ago
2015 drunk in 2021. Nutmeg, vanilla, and blackberry nose. Cherry cola mid-palette, hint of wet tea leaves on finish. Great backbone. — 3 years ago
I happen to think that Kadarka, a Hungarian grape that few have heard of, is one of the most interesting wine grapes around. Similar to Trousseau or Poulssard in weight and finesse, it’s totally delicious. This one is made from gnarled, 100-year-old vines (hence the name) whose delicate fruit is fermented and aged in steel. Aromas of dried flowers and red currant give way to dried herbs, strawberry and cherry flavors with notes of dried fennel seed in the finish. Juicy and bright and a mere 13% alcohol. — 4 years ago
Increíble. Contundente sin ser tánico. Uno de los mejores que he probado en LA VIDA.

Dia Bonita Albariño, Three Mile Vineyard, Columbia Valley AVA. 23 cases produced, barrel fermented, micro producer worth watching for Washington-state and Oregon-grown Spanish varieties like Albariño and Tempranillo. This is made like a high-end Chardonnay- fruity, crisp but softened via malolactic fermentation. Finish of floral, citrus, orchard fruit flavors with some minerality. — 18 days ago
