Nice nose with red fruit on the palette. Good acidity and soft tannins. Very nice tasting but near the end of its pinnacle. — 14 days ago
I’ve had both La Muse and La Joie so I was happy to get to try Le Désir. I think I like this cab franc dominated blend the best. The nose is floral with green fresh notes. On the palate it’s rich, full bodied with a luxurious velvety texture. Dark fruit, bell pepper, spices, licorice with powdery tannins that starts to melt into the wine completely. Starting to hit its peak. — a year ago
At Mark O July 4 party. A real surprise of a good tasting Bordeaux blend from Virginia! Cab Franc Petit Verdot Merlot Cab blend. — 10 months ago
Reminder to myself to drink more Beaujolais. Beaujolais me when I want a fun wine that still hits that delicious mark.
Beaujolais, France, is located just south of Burgundy, and Beaujolais should never be confused with Beaujolais Nouveau. This wine is generally light, lively, and delicious.
2020 Bonnett Cotton, Cote de Brouilly 100% Gamay. Located right next to the Bonnet-Cotton winery in Odénas, Cotton’s parcel of Côte de Brouilly is on a unique terroir of ‘corne verte,’ a particular soil blend of pink granite and diorite which Pierre claims is found nowhere else in the Beaujolais. ~winemaker notes.

First time with WS in a while. Almost a pogeba. Really liking it so far. Lemon curd, acidity and tension. Excited to try the same in a few years. — 13 days ago
