Two surprises today. Tammy announcing her final year as Meridian’s Mayor and .....an absolutely phenomenal wine to recognize this decision and milestone in her career. Deep dark complex tannins that lingered for ever. Dark mineral juice wrung from grapes from the Garden of Eden. They came together so smooth, so balanced. One of the absolute best! Hand delivered by Chris Dixon. — 7 years ago
Pretty nice pinot, on the thicker side, reminds me of zinfandel. Dried dark cherry and almonds. Cherries linger in the aftertaste. — 9 years ago
Well I dunno about previous years but wow the 2016 is great. Massive hit of strawberry upfront but enough backbone that I like it more than some of the Nouveau's I've had. So good in the warm weather! — 9 years ago
Birth year wine for sis's confirmation - earthiness, spice, pepper, and plum — 10 years ago
At The Keg near Holiday Inn on Dixon road...great wine prices and they are in CDN $....easy day of travel after last time and on our way to Kahnawake in the morning...I love you my Janet — 4 years ago

Holy moley, what a gratifying wine. Uniquely farmy, bloody, tarpauliny, fruity nose- full blown Hermann Nitsch tableau- but follows that with a beautifully deft drink. — 9 years ago
Quick weekend getaway for the TCU vs Arkansas football game! Always a treat to come up to Fayetteville in the Ozark mountains! I'm a Razorback by marriage, even though I grew up near TCU. A wonderful and beautiful campus and amazing football atmosphere.
Doe's Eat Place is a staple in Fayetteville. Picnic table tops, right off Dixon strip, fat steaks, and an actually decent wine list that is served in red plastic cups unless you buy by the bottle 😂. I've been pleasantly surprised with Stag's Leap over the last few years in regards to their quality...seems to be stepping up a bit/getting back to their roots. This Artemis won't hold forever, but it has a super aromatic nose of blue and black fruits, dates and french bread. Very plush on the palate, and a lengthy finish of licorice, touch of menthol and lots of blueberries and vanilla. Crowd pleaser. — 9 years ago
This wine is a revelation. Black Currant and the specific flavor of a Dixon-Ticonderoga No. 2 permeate this vintage. Fantastic wine. @Kyle Harvey — 10 years ago
YUM SO GOOD but this was the merlot not the Pinot — 4 years ago

Ceccherini Cristiano
Perhaps a different label
I was told the grapes were sourced quite locally.
I bought in Byron Bay and i got quite curious to be honest.
Apparently there is this new wine region called New England that has been put on the map by this Lone Ranger called Jared Dixon.
I found it really good, minimal intervention. Drinking very well.
A new frontier, but in reality a very old place for grape growers; first settlers in 1850s started a vineyard here, quite a well known Hunter Valley family too they were, the Wyndham's.
Very interesting, i might want to explore more of this. — 2 years ago
