Gift from JP, slightly sweet, crushable — 4 years ago
Tart cherries, cassis and floral notes. Dusty, leathery with lots of chewy sediments. Still youthful compared to the 2001. Wonderful winery with a beautiful estate. If you have ever seen Falcon Crest, you should definitely visit SM. — 5 years ago
At dinner and Sky & Sea in La Jolla were we saw a Falcon 9 rocket blast into orbit. Limited formal notes - Raspberry driven with some herbs. — 5 months ago
Still a good amount of fruit and life left, though on the decline for sure. Surprisingly good, given not a noteworthy vintage. Mature flavors. Savory, herbaceous and earthy. Now Spring Mountain vineyards (Falcon Crest). One of a few “birth year wines” I’ve had and enjoyed. — 3 years ago
I think it’s a leopard with falcon wings and the legs of a lion. Its the first mezcal I’ve enjoyed drinking neat - maybe because mixers cost $$$$ here in bora bora, bora bora. Either way, I say get it! Now only if it helped with sunburn... ⛑👺👹😡🤬 — 5 years ago
Well this is black cherry heaven with strawberry and roses. Smooth and luscious. — 6 months ago
