A magical Syrah. — 3 years ago
Cabernet Franc, carbonic maceration, Blue Mountain Vineyard, Walla Walla Valley, 48 cases made. Ruby red, excellent clarity though unfined and unfiltered, very light pigment extraction. Light red fruit aromas, good acidity and tutti frutti flavor, lightly tannic finish with red fruit flavors on finish - cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Their first carbonic maceration release, more a red wine than an orange or rosé. Different, and made in a seemingly reductive, tight or minimal oxygen exposure during fermentation of the whole cluster grapes. After an hour, a moderate black pepper flavor emerges in the finish. Hard to find this wine, so best of luck to you if you would like a try of it. Interesting wine, and I hope we see more iterations in the future. — 2 years ago
60/35/5 blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Counoise, 234 cases made. Light yellow with salmon pink tinge. Floral, herb and melon aromas. Flavors of watermelon, Crenshaw melon, lemon with a hint of strawberry on finish. Pretty dry, crisp, mineral with rounded mouthfeel. Pretty tasty too — 2 years ago

Very easy drinking Syrah. Nice rich mouthfeel and subtle tannins from a nearby neighborhood Leschi local store from Tony. — 2 years ago
