Another solid vintage of this 100% Corvina gem. Dark purple/ruby color. Aromas of ripe and cooked red fruit, burnt chocolate, cola and purple flowers. Flavors of cherry compote, red currants, cocoa powder, coffee and black pepper spice. Long and luxurious finish with some sweet oak overtones. Rich, dense, complex and plush. Tannins are so smooth. Easy drinker that can handle a chill. Not quite as outgoing as the stellar 2016 Vintage but still quite good. Thanks for bringing this one out at the New Year’s Day brunch, Keith S! — 7 months ago
Medium (but translucent) ruby color. Aromas of red and black fruit, lavender, mint, toasted oak and wet gravel. Flavors of red cherries, raspberries and plums, tobacco, black tea and roasted nuts. Hint of wet soil on the long and fresh finish. Plush tannins. Well rounded and intense but with quite the delicate structure. Bright acidity and full bodied and ripe. Excellent! Thank you for opening this one, Keith S! — 7 months ago

Almost apperativo like, like cocchi americano — 6 years ago
Medium plus body and medium plus intensity. Fuller bodied and less herbaceous than the normal Moss Wood Cabernet. Black currant notes. I heard an interview recently with winemaker and owner Keith Mugford who said he is trying to avoid green notes in the wine and would prefer to pick a little later and err on the side of ripeness. I think that’s what happened here and probably more so the following year in 2009. Still a lovely wine. The first of 6 - next one in a year. — 8 years ago
…solid, solid bottle. — 3 months ago
Blend of Grenache (88%), Syrah (10%) and Mourvèdre (2%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of ripe red and blue fruit, fresh herbs as well as red and purple flowers. Flavors of red cherries, blueberries, black pepper and those lovely fresh Southern Rhône herbs. Long bright and savory finish. Full bodied, well structured and fresh tasting. Medium bodied, with ripe tannins, high level of complexity and very harmonious for such a young wine. Solid now as just a baby. Will continue to improve with age. Thanks so much for sharing, Keith S! Bright ruby color with garnet highlights. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit, Asian spices, wet soil, garrigue and wood ash. Flavors of cranberry, red cherries, red plums, tobacco, Earl Grey tea, dark chocolate, grilled herbs and baking spices. Long and lingering finish. Dusty tannins, firm structure and bright acidity. Lovely concentration and mouth coating texture. Bring on the grilled meat. Great choice, Keith S! — 7 months ago
This brilliant red wine presents itself elegantly, with a nose that marries the fruit of Sangiovese with the smoke of Merlot. Dark fruit is what you smell, with a bit of vanilla and spice from the wood. The wine drinks spectacularly, with a full mouthfeel, soft tannins and a long-lasting finish. My friendly neighborhood publicist feels that it is a great wine with which to toast a strong, bold woman on International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022. — 4 years ago
Incredibly fresh tasting for a wine of this age. Deep ruby color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of black figs and plums, dried cherries, purple flowers and iron. Same on the pallet along with hints of leather and tobacco. Long and lasting finish. Plush, full and round. Tannins are present but well in check. Amazingly youthful expression of Agloanico. Pleasant surprise. Outstanding!! Thank You Keith S. Revisited in November 2025. Still fresh and even more smooth. More life left. — 6 years ago

Yet another outstanding vintage (2020) of this consistently excellent Co-Op produced Barbaresco. Aromas of red fruit, dried rose petals and anise. Flavors of bright red cherry and raspberry fruit, mint, Asian spices, minerals and orange zest. Long and earthy/smoky finish. Fantastic balance, structure and depth. Fine grained tannins and a silky texture yet still firm and powerful. So delicious now, but built to age for at least another decade. The quality consistency of this wine vintage to vintage is incredible. Outstanding value! Thanks so much for opening this one, Keith S! Happy 60th Birthday, Karyn! — 3 months ago
Funk and menthol on the nose. Lemon and minerality on the mouth. — a year ago
Pretty light straw , green reflexes . Quite taught and herbaceous on the nose, cut grass with grapefruit , honey , wax , touch toasty , nutty richness . Lemon and lime , slightly toasty notes on the palate, quite long and fresh , saline on the finish . While quite light and not that intense this is still young and could go on like this for another decade or more . — 2 years ago

An excellent "second" wine from Luce Della Vite's estate. A nice nose of dark berries and red cherries. A medium body with intense but smooth dark fruits and a decent finish. Drinking very well right now. — 6 years ago
88 mouton with Keith harding art work. The nose upon opening was sublime. As it decanted and opened, it was a bit disjointed. Has a lot of potential but at this age I think it’s not going to come together. The nose weakened, and the body to finish is a bit jarred. — 7 years ago

A mature, complex wine. Needs time to open but I think it's fully developed. Pungent raspberry and darker fruit, soil, tannic still. Great bottle, gift from Glen. — 14 days ago
