Delicious. Peach notes. Very little acidity perhaps that’s why it’s almost too easy to drink. — 5 days ago
Minerally, peppery, bright acid but balanced not lingering. Really lovely. — 20 days ago
Tightly wound 1er Cru from an outstanding vintage. The main star here is the interplay of lime zest and a unique, Santorini-like volcanic smoke / petrol. On day two, it was possible to peer under those expressive qualities to perhaps an even more impressive layer of tangerines, nectarines, and cantaloupe. Pair with fried lake perch. 12.5% $27 — 5 days ago
Lovely aromatics with ripe red apples, Mirabelle plums, fresh apricots & white peaches. There’s a healthy pinch of white pepper & nutmeg, too. Quite broad & rich.
On the palate this shows amazing depth & restraint, cool purity and great balance. This has power yet seems weightless. This is just brilliant and a perfect fit with homemade Tafelspitz.

Much more expressive than the 2018, with crunchy underripe apricot, green mango, lime & lemon zest, a touch of green grapefruit. On the palate this is precise & pure with a core of juicy, electric acidity and spicy, slightly salty minerality. Great depth & loads of character. I’m curious how this vintage will evolve! — 12 days ago
Tasted double blind. Grapefruit, Lemon citrus, yellow flowers, minerals, wet stone, medium plus acidity, medium body, medium alcohol. I guessed New World, Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc...but started not to like my guess because it didn’t have the piercing acidity of SB. Totally understood the Gruner when it was revealed. Really lovely stuff. So refreshing. — 6 days ago
