Pours more yellow than previous MM Kabinet Rieslings I've tried. Truly golden like a California Chardonnay!
Nose is luscious yet delicate. No petrol/diesel notes at all on this one. Clean, sensual, you want to make out with it not drink it!
The nose leads into the mouth - again sensual, supple, luscious texture.
Strong myer lemon acid zing on the finish and it stays there for a good long distance.
I consider it a must pair wine (Schweinshöchen anyone?). Not the reisling for drinking with girlfriends/boyfriends/no friends on a Saturday night. — 2 years ago
Pale straw color; green apple, pear, and honeysuckle on the nose; high acidity; tastes like honey, lemon, pineapple, and hint of wet slate with a long fruity finish. Very sweet, but balanced by the acidity. Nellie loves it and so do I. — a year ago

Rather developed with deep golden hue. On the nose and palate some oxidative notes, sweet fruit, minerals, almond. Medium+ length. I'd have liked this a lot more if it would not have been so darn sweet tasting. Like young kabinet riesling from a ripe year. 2nd day the fruit is better balanced with acidity but at the same time wine lost some of the complexity it had on day one. Based on this I'll drink any remaining bottles within a year or 2 max — 4 years ago
I opened this wine casually after receiving it from my former line manager as a Christmas present. I should maybe have made some research about it. It's not yet another Mosel riesling, it's a delicious, complex, soulful wine, with a tiny bit of age on it.
It bears a straw color with a golden hue, which is very different and much darker from recent kabinet I had in recent vintages. The nose shows first some petroly notes, that are quite strong and taking the stage by storm. After some air, tangerine, lemon and yuzu notes come in, it's very exciting. Some flowery notes pop out too. Wow!
The palate shows some acid drive, but it's not a laser beam acid drive, it's just one element of the whole palate experience. There is some nice width, some stewed tangerine notes, almost a sweet, buttery mouthfeel that tells me there could be some slight oxydation going on, before an elegant, tangerine finish. No lemon peel to speak of and no bitterness whatsoever. It's extremely easy to drink and very elegant. A whole new riesling experience 👍🏻 — a year ago
Minerality, tropical notes, very pale and off white, slight jasmine, lots of aromas, bright, strong on the nose. Taste like apple juice, it’s a kabinet, driest they have — 3 years ago
