Really enjoying the generous, sensual, textured nature of this vintage and top producers really nailed it. — 2 months ago
Gorgeous nose of deep cherry fruit, tweed jacket, minerals and wet earth. Gorgeous and classic SLB and classic Girard. Fleshy and ripe but excellent cut and grip. Superb supple red fruits and nice finesse for such a humble wine. Tiny berry fruit intensity and so sappy. Great dissipation on the finish. — a month ago
Fresh, fruity. Citrus and creamy. Jean charles boisset N21° brut cremant de Bourgogne @5280, Peiroth, 241011 — 2 months ago
The 21’s here are masterful. Nose of late season black cherries, late season red cherries, earth, mineral and more. Blueberry and blackberry as well. So deep and expressive. That’s 21! Palate is teeming with energy and juiciness. Sour and red cherries and glorious silky tannins and lovely sweetness. Long and flowy. Needs time but just spectacular. So much finesse now and the fruit is all red now. — 9 months ago
Glorious nose. So exuberant. Rich, dense black and red cherries. Cranberry and black plum. Gorgeous lift. Palate has great freshness and deep black and red cherry fruit. Very pure and terrific acidity fans out on the long finish. Really lithe yet classic dense, structured and classic Aloxe. Really ripe, sweet, chewy and dense tannins. Girard always delivers. Fruit set that is developing on the finish is fantastic. 2019 is a modern day 1999. As this airs it gains in opulence, sap and a little toasty oak. Ideally a few more years. — 2 months ago
Nice cherry notes, fruity aroma with a lighter color. Very smooth to drink, great flavor and lighter tannins. — 8 months ago

Continuing to check out the recently arrived 22 Burgs and they continue to impress. Gorgeous nose of intense spice, light toasty oak, dark flowers, and gorgeously clear red cherry fruit. Palate is sappy and elegant with spice and flowers and glorious darker cherry fruits. So refined, sleek and subtle. Awesome breadth and depth and terrific freshness and velvety and sweet tannins. So brilliant. Let’s see where air takes this. Getting more dense with air and wow that fruit. — 15 days ago
