Airy with lots of aromatic floral nuances and generous red/black fruits. 2018 is very opulent! The carbonic maceration which gives this English-sweet side characteristic of Beaujolais is here associated with an aging giving it a subtle Burgundy character which suggests a good aging potential over 3, 4 years. A sure value on Beaujolais.

Un Fleurie qui fait honneur à l’appellation. Aérien avec beaucoup de nuances aromatiques florales justement et du fruits rouges et noirs généreux. 2018 est très opulent! La macération carbonique qui donne ce côté bonbon-anglais caractéristique des beaujolais est ici associé à un élevage lui apportant un caractère bourguignon subtil qui laisse présager un beau potentiel de garde sur 3, 4 ans. @Delectable Wine this is Charles Chevalier Brut d’ Honneur NV Champagne... and man was it delicious! Very elegant super tiny bubbles and hovered just over the line of demarcation of PN dominate blend but still plenty of Chard... hits that perfect sweet spot of nutty flavors offset w/pure yellow fruit, smooth mouthfeel w/gorgeous vibrant acidity that was never nervy. Second tasting delivering an appreciation comparable to the first. A wine that honors the appellation in a very reasonable price range. It is voluminous in the mouth with a beautiful flexibility, providing a very appreciable feeling of smoothness. The aromatic notes unfold in a condensed bouquet between jammy notes, undergrowth, charcoal, roasting and other nuances.

Deuxième dégustation délivrant une appréciation comparable à la première. Un vin qui fait honneur à l’appellation dans une gamme de prix très raisonnable. C’est volumineux en bouche avec une belle souplesse, procurant une sensation d’onctuosité très appréciable. Les notes aromatiques se déploient dans un bouquet condensé entre notes confiturées, sous-bois, charbon, torréfaction et autres nuances. — 4 years ago

A perfect Chiroubles which honors the appellation. Light, airy, sensual, feminine Beaujolais. Red fruits fragrances deciliously intoxicating but without prominence. Multiple vegetal / floral nuances. The finish is discreetly persistent with very delicate tannins.

Fragrances de fruit rouges délicieusement enivrantes mais sans proéminence, avec multiples nuances végétales/florales. Nose of wet earth, green bell pepper, grass clippings, violet, and a touch of beef fat.

Lots of floral notes and the palate with good red fruit acidity. Tannins are fairy course and leave a good bit of astringency with nice minerality.

Classic and rustic cab franc which I love. I understand how the green and earth notes could be off-putting for some though. — 7 years ago

PN Gamay Blend #1: A nice biodynamic juice that honours the pinot noir, (by bringing a classy mouth) and the gamay, generous and flowery. The dress is dark but translucent. Open nose, very fruity. In the mouth the material is velvety, combining freshness and roundness, in a balance that makes this wine remarkable in its price range. Nice entry cuvée by an interesting domain of Loire region.

Un beau jus qui fait honneur au pinot noir, (en apportant une certaine tenue) et au gamay, généreux et accessible. La robe est violine sombre mais translucide. Le nez ouvert est très fruité. En bouche la matière est veloutée, associant fraîcheur et rondeur, dans un équilibre qui rend ce vin remarquable dans sa gamme de prix. Belle entrée en matière d’un super domaine. — 5 years ago

After the Chiroubles, I taste this second Cuvée from the Domaine; confirming the admirable know-how of these winegrowers who love a job well done. Biodynamic Fleurie which does justice to the appellation: nose of red fruits and cherries accompanied by rocky floral nuances and something that resembles peppermint. (Vintage effect?). The palate confirms this generosity, with a carbonic maceration that suits the Gamay grape so well, without being prominent here. The finish unfolds on roasted and typical sour cherry notes. It’s very greedy. Immediate pleasure at a very affordable price.

Après le Chiroubles, je goûte cette deuxième cuvée du Domaine; confirmant l’admirable savoir faire de ces vignerons amoureux du travail bien fait. Fleurie biodynamique qui fait honneur à l’appellation: nez sur les fruits rouges et griottes accompagné de roches nuances florales et quelque chose qui ressemblerait à la menthe poivrée. (Effet millésime?). La bouche confirme cette générosité, avec une macération carbonique qui sied si bien au cépage gamay, sans pour autant être proéminente ici. La finale se déploie sur des notes torréfiées et griottes typique. C’est très gourmand. plaisir immédiat à prix très abordable. — 6 years ago
