Not a bad drop of Traditional CNDP here. Hot stone, meat, dust, garrigue, white pepper, melange of red and black fruit, spice. Raw tannin, lengthy, dtructured and built to last. Great example of WC and extended mas on Grenache. — 3 years ago

The “Hommage à Cuisles, 100 Ans” is just that, a celebration of 100 years of the Moussé family working their unusual land in Cuisles where there is green clay and Meunier is king. It’s also the only time I can recall seeing a Special Club bottle used for a non-Special Club label (though Famille Moussé is part of the Club Trésors). Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The wine pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, beautiful notes of strawberry, white peach, raspberry, a kiss of fresh brioche and soft minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is extraordinary. Based on the 2020 vintage. Drink over the next decade, easy. Disgorged December 2022. — 2 months ago
On first tasting this wine it was noticeably saline and mineral/gravel on the palate. Also notes of citrus and white stone fruits. Oak influence is subdued - matured in 350 litre oak barrels. Overall a great balance between austerity and opulence. Points off for a ridiculously heavy bottle. — 2 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed alongside Texas BBQ on the plane home. The 2005 “Hommage a Jacques Perrin” pours a deep purple with a ruby rim; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with mostly dark fruits: mixed brambles, black cherry, animale, star anise and black pepper, garrigue and stony earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This continues to be ever so dense but paired admirably with the BBQ. Drink now through 2055. — a month ago
