Earthy, dark fruit with spicy finish. — 4 months ago
I love the Portuguese. Upon first pour, the wine captivates with its deep ruby color, hinting at the complexity and depth within. The nose is immediately greeted with an intoxicating bouquet of dark fruits—ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries—interwoven with subtle notes of vanilla, spice, and a whisper of oak. — 5 months ago

Love this wine. Perfect balance of fruit, spice, and oak. — a month ago
Lots of tart red fruit, oak, cedar, tar, and pencil lead. Medium plus body, high tannins, high acid, high alcohol, and medium plus finish. Some tertiary notes, so drink now. Also recommend decanting (I know, a bit of a contradiction there). Reminds me a bit of an Argentina Malbec on steroids. — 3 months ago
Muted initially but warm strawberry boquet followed light body but lengthy saline finish impressed over days — 2 years ago

A nice change of scenery. A lot of black fruits in here. Both black from living and black from dried age or should I just say decay? , if that makes any sense to anyone but me I'll be surprised. Secondary smells are kitchen herbs - thyme, Thai basil, and maybe some marjoram. . Again walking that line between fresh and dried.
The more I went into the bottle the higher my rating creot. That's the opposite of most for me. — 2 months ago
I am not quite sure of the varietals in this blend. . However, the fruit and the acidity is in near perfect harmony. A really nice tasting blanco from Portugal. — 2 years ago

Esporão never disappoints. Oak really comes through with Bold wild berries, a hint of anise and vanilla. Alcohol is maybe a little too prominent which makes me think in a couple of years of cellaring this its true character will truly shine. — 2 days ago
