K&L notes
An exceptionally successful vintage for this property. Pretty, deep crimson. Rich nose redolent of treacle. Smooth, quite sumptuous texture. Very flattering and relatively subtle. I just drank a bottle of this beauty (3/15/20) and it was heavenly. So sweet and elegant. A bit toasty cassis on the nose. Lingering finish-delicious wine and top value for next few years.

A wonderful and surprising mix of traditional Chardonnay and interesting notes of tropical fruit that culminates in a butteriness that is different enough to be called creamy. — 6 months ago
2016 Heavenly wine by the Sicilian master, Salvo Foti. — 3 years ago
This is an AMAZING dessert wine. It's fruity and citrusy and sweet (but not sticky sweet), and it has a nice undertone of vanilla that comes through. — 4 years ago
Smelling this wine put such a smile on my face. A heavenly cacophony of dark red fruit, vanilla and cedar. On the palate, this is a very full bodied, virile Saint Emilion with lots of red fruits - cranberry, blackberry, cassis - and a wave of strong espresso, dark chocolate and vanilla.
Still incredibly youthful, very dry with abundant tannin and pitch-perfect acidity. Finish is very long. Impressive and seriously enjoyable stuff. — 4 years ago
Well, wow. Unlike any GG I've ever had. Yeah, the evidently high-toast oak might be controversial, but the results shouldn't be: this is a stunning btl. On the nose: toasted wood, lemon oil, almond, lemon peel, wet stone...those descriptors don't do justice to the heavenly aromatics. On the palate: fantastic acidity, and just so unctuous, leather and lempn oil, savory and vibrant at the same time...and the length on the finish is stunning. Just, wow. — 4 years ago

Stunningly great. Lots of depth and solid bones but the heavenly enveloping feeling was what put this over the top. The fruit was well developed. — 9 days ago
