A bit sweeter than I would which means it goes down way to easy and fast — 4 years ago
Dog Point Vineyard combines experience of Ivan and Margaret Sutherland & James and Wendy Healy. Ivan and James met while working at Cloudy Bay Vineyards. Light straw with typical SB aromas adding a touch of floral mineral notes. On the palate flavors of melon and grapefruit with citrus and honeysuckle notes, generous acidity, great mouthfeel with long finish ending with a salty spice character. Exceptional wine! — 3 months ago
Stunner of a Savagnin, nose evokes a lovely mix of toasted nuts, caramel, apple sauce, camomile, white & yellow flowers as well as an almond croissant richness.
Rich mouth feel with vibrant acidity and that walnut skin tannin after taste.
Young, vital with some rough edges that should smooth out with a bit of time in bottle.

Color of purple with slightly gray and blue tone on the rim. Nice legs. Nose of good aldehyde, dried strawberry, prune, dark cherry, ripe grapes, and leather. Taste is smooth, with addition of soft tannins, suckling acidity, a bit minty, a tiny bit sweet, some spice, dark fruits, and zest. Aftertaste is medium long, a revisit of the taste, and quite tasty. Good one. — 4 years ago

Nice aged Côtes du Rhône, definitely mature, but still some pleasant redfruit aromas and flavors, soft structure, lingering finish, time to drink up!! This was a gray market import, as all labels are in French only, 13.5% ABV. — 23 days ago
