Morey Saint Denis Pinot Noir 2018

Still very young but opening one anyway since this is a Villages wine I always love, a quick decant helps the nose to become more expressive with a dark fruit profile, the palate has great volume and texture, more expressive than the nose, medium to full bodied but nothing over the top either, the fruit is gorgeous and the wine is very approachable, nice delicious finish not too square for a young MSD, good right now, the potential is great. 90-91

Le Grand Saussy Chorey-les-Beaune Pinot Noir 2018

Beautiful Pinot nose, fresh ripe red fruits that we also find on the gorgeous and engaging palate, fresh and medium bodied, delicious for this level.

Superbe nez qui pinote de fruits rouges frais qui se retrouve au palais, acidité parfaite, fruité pur et destannins assez souples, un beau vin frais, savoureux et qui se voit rapidement. 90-91

Pretty bottle. The higher proof bourbons really push/change your palate or at least expectations. I still enjoy this, mainly for the memories it invokes. — 5 years ago

A multiple tasting of global brown spirits, but dinner of enchiladas with locally sourced ingredients was perfectly paired to the ultimate of Green Chile vodka from none other than St. George's (Alameda, CA).

Happy 2022>2023 Delectable Family.
I was lucky enough to land one of the current COVID variants during my Holiday break, yet 'luck' is one word for the situation. Fortunately symptoms were mild but my palate is twisted, so hopefully 2023 brings a reset.

More peat than I would have thought from a bourbon, but still nice and smooth and maybe a blind tasting mess more most. — 4 years ago

Isosceles Reserve Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2013

On the Lawn at Tanglewood for our final evening of the season, pre & post-season the BSO fills the Lawn with Popular Artists. Tonight we're relaxing with Ben Harper and Troy Andrews, aka 'Trombone Shorty'. A lively show is ahead, fingers crossed we're trending more towards the New Orleans funk tonight.

Nose has black cherry buttercream, moist earth, fermented blackberry, cigar box and blueberry skin.

Palate has boysenberry, blackberry, cedar plank and dry earth. Medium-long finish. Decanted +4 hours, yet still needs air and years, future bottles should be 2023+

84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, but 100% deliciousness on a standout CA vintage, Paso Robles fruit, yum yum yum yum!

@Manny Abascal Thanks, a great show, but due to the curfew for the grounds, he was only able to play about 75m, such talent there. His voice still sounds close to when I starting listening to him 20+ years ago, but his lap guitar playing has gotten even better. You'll have a great time, great venue!
