I recently visited the brewery in Brooklyn, NY. They were out of my fave IPA, but this represents a reasonable proxy.
It’s a double, but the alcohol is submerged by a moderate citrus and sweet finish. This husband and wife partnership are doing good things. — 4 years ago
I am an occasional beer drinker but if wine did not exist this would be my everyday drinker. Tremendous complexity combined with perfect balance. I am usually skeptical about some of these combinations but the orange bitters was just perfect. I have found sours to be the closest thing to wine with respect to complexity. Dense, dark brown, fairly sweet, rich. Very smooth and sustains. An interesting stout from Grimm, one of New York's hottest breweries. — 9 years ago

@Chris Grimm the good shit! — 3 years ago

Grimm is New York's hottest brewery, a "gypsy" brewery with no fixed abode. The Pale Ale is delicious. Citrus, floral, refreshing and with substance. Enjoyed at Milk and Hops, a gem of a place. — 9 years ago
Spontaneous fermentation skin contact Riesling made by Grimm Brewery's wine project, with Long Island grapes. And leave it to Grimm to make a wine in the same spirit of their sour ales - tart and funky with a slight salty aftertaste, almost tastes like a beer or cider. — 3 years ago
