Since reaching my third decade on this planet, I feel it’s only right to graduate to Sherry. How content I am to be introduced to this smooth talking goat from Valdespino - one of Spain’s oldest Sherry producers. Gold, cloudy and unfiltered. Hold up to the light to discover flecks of pink rose and lime around the edge. A wise nose possessing orange peel, menthol, vanilla essence and grandmas underwear drawer. A spectacular drop, that summons you to drink and think more slowly. I guess that’s why the old birds love it. Pour yourself a Sherry and slow down my friends. — 6 years ago
Smells like grandmas damp basement. Bitter and spicy like arugula, raspberry and red apple skins, tannic, light, balanced acid. — 4 years ago
This is the cheapest white wine at chambers and I loved it. (quarantine wine #1) pairs well with aurea’s “what happens at grandmas house stays at grandmas house” sign — 5 years ago
Has an orangey hue. Oaky smell, tobacco, dusty, smells like grandmas basement during poker night. Taste is AGGRESSIVE. Literally tastes like a poker night. Super tannic. Oak. Ripe Plum, acidity makes it almost lemony at the end. Burn up front but no burn going down. — 5 years ago
Amazing brunello...love this producer...dried red fruit/black fruits, savory, leather and cigar box. Came out of the gate with some VA and barnyard funk which made it fun as the structural elements all there..it blew away in time but overall just perfect. Paired with grandmas pizza! — 4 years ago
This winery is across the hollow from my wife’s grandmas farm! Good stuff! — 5 years ago

Sharing this as a gift from brother John while staying at his home. So generous. Aroma in glass after sitting for 1/2 hour, grandmas closet, stems, and berry. Tastes of yeast, cedar, black olive, subtle berry. Finish is light and smooth drank 23 January’24 — a year ago
