Intense syrah character proving it's regal and rightful prowess on the varietal throne. Wet woodsy Walla Walla wild parsley meets stewed Northsky blueberry on the nose. Complimented by a powerful plum and pluet preserve presence, bright Bing cherry acid for hours.....no, DAYS, and a smattering of cracked black Persian pepper culminating in the gratuitous and o' so enjoyable cedar smoked Nusky bacon crescendo. Truly. Awesome. Only emasculated by that bully gorilla Bonzo trying to wrestle the bottle away! — 9 years ago
Cocoa, rose hips, and coffee on the nose. Blackberries, pine bark. Subtle finish, a bit of spice, hints of dark chocolate. — 6 years ago
My steadfast wine in Rwanda, best enjoyed post gorilla and chimpanzee trekking🐒. A merlot, I know. Maybe it tastes better in higher altitudes ? — 8 years ago
Muted nose. Minerals light caramel; but huge palate stomp! Barley wine-style tar tobacco charred barley malt and a tiny bite of espresso with licorice. It only grows darker from there; pencil lead, leather, smoke. Burly as a gorilla in a party dress! #ThirdCoastOldAle #BellsThirdCoastOldAle #BellsBeer #BellsOldAle — 10 years ago
Good value. Sour fruits, mild barnyard, mild tannins. Not as intense as the one with the Gorilla. — 2 years ago
Straight up gorilla punch. Not subtle, but love it — 6 years ago
Rosé runs rampant in gentrified areas these days. Some say there's a direct correlation of Pure Barre studios to Rosé bottles. I agree with that some. In any event, if you're looking for a rosé that speaks volumes about your personality, look no further. The bottle alone is a work of art - uniquely made out of beechwood and gorilla jawbone. And when you drink it, you're making the statement that yeah, sometimes I steal salad from the salad bar at whole foods, so what? No producer. — 8 years ago

2021 vintage. Classic Napa Cab without all the current bells and whistles. Eye on the prize. Medium body with balanced bouquet and shows across the entire palate. It’s Cabernet like this that built Napa into the 800 lb gorilla that it is. 79% Cab, 8% PV, 7% Malbec, 6% Merlot. 4.3.24. — 9 months ago
