Consumed young. Ripe strawberries and flint on the nose. Plums, fresh cut hay, raspberry and a hint of charcoal on the front. Light butterscotch and rhubarb on the front on the finish. Not a jammy wine. — 3 years ago
Great structure, nice body, chewy, with verve. Earthy and savory, baked clay, underbrush, smoke and menthol. Just a tad austere. More generous fruit would have elevated this.
It hit another level on day 2, with the flavors crystallizing and more dried fruit, coffee, and milk chocolate coming on. Complex, food friendly and delish! — 4 years ago
Berry berry berry, can’t you see? Sometimes you just baby bear me! Berrys, a touch of smoke and a whole heaps of cuteness - big wine for sure. — 4 years ago
This is, excuse me, a damn fine bottle of wine.
Worn leather, cigar smoke, and vanilla on the nose. Intense palate of overripe blackberry and cassis. Powerful but well integrated oak. Very long, complex finish.
Drank while watching a fan edit of Fire Walk With Me. Needs a solid decant. — 8 months ago
Deep purple color. Soft berries/ cherries up front going to a dry middle. Finishes with a cocoa finish. — 2 years ago
Rich tropical fruit intertwines with grapefruit, lemon and candied lime peel. — 3 years ago
Good taste. Didn’t make me stuffy even though I drank the whole bottle. — 4 years ago

Nose of tart fruit and spice which shows up in the palate as well. Silky tannins that take a little time to build up. Easy to drink for a medium bodied red. It's holding up well to hearty spicy chilli, and the spice of the food is letting the fruit show more through the spice notes of the wine. Curious to see how it develops when I have some tomorrow. — 16 days ago
