So sweet on the nose almost sour. Palate is all business. Embarrassingly young. — 2 months ago
Great with arancini and lobster. — 3 months ago
Deep garnet color. Aromas of bright/ripe/sweet red fruit, rose petals, charcoal and light oak. Ripe red cherry and plum fruit on the palate with hints of sweet spices. Long finish with pleasant notes of wood smoke. Juicy tannins and quite elegant for such a young Nebbiolo based wine. Quite fresh and invigorating. Thanks for sharing, Keith S. — 4 days ago
Always enjoyable with pear and apple notes. Opening wine for SJOS Tasting I hosted — a month ago
Not too dry. Not too bold. Just right. — 2 months ago
Decanted for about nine hours. Fresh raspberries, cherries, and a bit of mushrooms. Very elegant. Full-bodied, but not quite as powerful as other Barolos I’ve had over the years. — 13 days ago

Another solid vintage of this consistently well made wine. Dark ruby/purple color. Intense aromas of blue and black fruit, red and purple flowers and wet stones. Blackberry, boysenberry and plum fruit on the palate with additional flavors of coffee and minerals. Long and earthy finish. Deep and dark concentration. Medium bodied and very silky tannin structure. Mouth watering acidity. Food friendly. Very good representation of the varietal. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — 4 days ago
