Cheeto colored Georgian skin contact wine. Full bodied with notes of tea and apple. Slightly tannic bright acidity and a little bit funky especially second day. — 4 years ago
Great Georgian pick from primrose. Tart and sour with a nice finish. — 5 years ago
Not a bit of Georgian script anywhere on the bottle, but a big square of marketing copy on the back label. Ok, great—these wines need more exposure! Medium amber (amber—so much nicer than “orange”), light tannin, apricot, great acidity, and refreshing in a brilliant way. Perfect with a range of foods. A stunning value. #georgianwine — 5 years ago

A mountainous region in Northern Italy; Alto Adige is influenced by German culture. Alto Adige is made up of two separate but similar regions: Alto Adige and Trentino. This wine blend is medium red with ruby highlights. The aromas hints are of rose and cherry. A cranberry-ish tinged finish is finely enhanced with smooth tannins. Excellent pairing with Beef short rib stew. — 4 years ago

The producer of this lovely wine likens this ancient Georgian variety to sauvignon blanc. While this did have similar aromas of grass and lemon pith, as well as tropical fruit notes on the palate, I found this to be softer, and less tangy, than sauv blanc. Almost tastes like sauv blanc blended with riesling! 100% Rkatsiteli. 9/15/22. — 3 years ago
