Next level dank on this one. Dave nearly puked in the bushes, but in the end he just peed in them and then passed out on a bench. I think he'd had a few sips before we met up at the playground.. — 2 days ago

Dila-O Rkatsiteli Mtsvane 2019

Not a bit of Georgian script anywhere on the bottle, but a big square of marketing copy on the back label. Ok, great—these wines need more exposure! Medium amber (amber—so much nicer than “orange”), light tannin, apricot, great acidity, and refreshing in a brilliant way. Perfect with a range of foods. A stunning value. #georgianwine — 17 days ago

ORGO cuvée Kisi Blend 2018

ORGO cuvée Kisi, Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli. Produced by: Teleda Ltd. Kisiskhevi, Telavi, Georgia.

Silk Road

Manavi White Blend

An easy, vibrant white wine that while being refreshing and bright, maintains that Georgian earthiness. This wine is delightful with notes of honey, citrus, and juicy white fruits. This is the warm weather wine. Like sunshine in a bottle! — a month ago

Had this bottle again and was better than last time! More fun, bouncy juicy sweet lemonade than last time. — 5 days ago

Kakheti Rkatsiteli 2018

Made from the Rkatsiteli grape variety grown in the Kakheti region of the Country of Georgia. This wine was fermented on the skins in Qvevri, large clay jars buried under the ground, following the 8000 year old Georgian traditional method. The wine’s amber color is a result of its extended contact with the skins. Nose and palate of dried peaches, apricots, nuts, baking spices, herbs, honey, sea water. Medium full body, medium plus acidity, high tannins. — 17 days ago

Sweet Water Brewing Company

420 Strain G13 IPA

With the look of a certain sample and the smell of hemp flour popping from the off-white head, it looks like you might not get the job! On the plus side, there is a lovely candied grapefruit mixed with hemp flower, tangerine, and lemon zest aroma driving the Hebrew alphabet lacing. The pine tar entry isn’t for everyone, but I for one, appreciate flavors that resinate (sic). Pine cones and petrol, hemp seeds and lemongrass, almond extract and bay leaf. Lemon peel and grapefruit zest pull us back to fruits but a pecan bitterness and tea tree oil, make it arboreal. This is almost Arrogant Bastard’s kinder, sweeter sister in a puffy cloud. #sweetwaterbrewing #sweetwater #sweetwaterfourtwenty #gthirteenipa #fourtwentystrain #ipa #stickyipa #indiapaleale #beer #birra #bier #biere #cerveza #cerveja #sweetwaterbrew #GAbeer #georgiabeer — 19 days ago

Qvevri Amber Dry Rkatsiteli 2015

Prior notes apply. Second time visiting this and the pleasure is still very much there. That waxy nose with honey and pine. The palate is very dry with a perfect balance, a good acid drive, some matter on the sides, a good grip, honey waxy notes, tannins which lay a drying layer in the end. A wine to drink and think. — a month ago
