Really just everything I want a champagne to be. — 3 months ago
Very gentle and not too sharp as typical champagne — 4 months ago
2001 Musar is a great way to start to an amazing week. A delicate blend of Cabernet Savignon, Cinsault and Carignan aged in oak for over a year. At its peak from my cellar - 23 years later it's showing notes of dried cherries, cassis, prunes, some leathery vanilla oakyness. The complexity is off the charts and I'm getting aromas of smokey Tennessee tobacco barn and cherry bramble which is a combo I never imagined I would want so bad. The structure is light and balanced. Silky smooth acidity and fine tannins which is a hallmark of this exquisite wine. — 15 days ago

Vintage 2021 | We once visited papa René Noél Legrand in Varrains; he showed modesty and determination as vintner. Clotilde makes a fine Saumur Champigny from ‘Les Liziéres’. No need to cellar long, it is a fine prove what Cabernet Franc can do. Purple reflection in colour and that joyful and vibrant cabfranc smell with raspberries and spicyness, nowhere bell pepper (showing some immaturity) and a supple elegant taste. Paired with a Cantonese dish: tenderloin with mango. Enjoyed this in the garden. — 21 hours ago
