I really like this wine. It has a good mouth feel, some sweetness but not too much, juicy with a dry finish. There’s a lightness to it but also some structure. It’s quite elegant. Notes of elderflower. — 4 hours ago
2018 vintage. Another spectacular value from the Côtes de Bordeaux, this time from Blaye. From 79 hectares of vines on sandy gravel soils. A blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet sauvignon and 5% Malbec. Again I feel sorry for owner Jean François Reaud that he has to sell such a good wine at silly prices (4,95 euro consumer price!). Even at twice the price it would be great value. Subtle nose with ripe black (blueberries, cassis) and red fruits (raspberry) with a subtle floral touch. The taste is amazingly elegant, the fruit is fresh and crisp, with a good soft tannic backbone, some complexity, moderate alcohol (abv. 13%) and very good length. Extraordinary value. Terrific pairing with a smoked turkey! — 2 days ago
Nose has oxidized yellow apple slice, dried papaya, candied pineapple, hay bale, cold candle wax, oak shavings and buttercream.
Palate has dried pineapple, dehydrated lemon, pineapple cake, limestone sand with a very long finish.
Lightest color of yellow in the Gabriel Glas, by far the least visually oxidized version of this wine of all prior. Fresh as a Spring day! — a month ago
2019 vintage. Château Barrail Tapon, Montagne Saint Emilion. As this is the fourth impeccable wine with amazing value mentioning "vignobles Gabriel & co" this week, it seems safe to say that it is a quality label. This one is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc and it's juicy, fruity and fresh with ripe tannin and good length. Another great value at less than 7 euros. — a month ago
A bit sweet, strawberry. Then sour. A bit forest flavor. 2018 @460/G,1780(2300), domaine, 200926 — 2 months ago

2017 vintage. The Côtes de Bordeaux is a fantastic playground for value seekers and this Castillon is no exception. To be honest I feel sorry for owner Patricia Aroldi that she has to sell a biodynamical wine of this quality at such a low price (4,95 euro consumer price, I kid you not!). A blend of 86% merlot and 14% cabernet franc. Bright red fruit and flowers in the nose. Good fruit concentration and ripe tannin structure with vibrant acidity and more than decent length. Very easy to drink now, but this should age well for a few years. Highly recommended. Abv. 13%. Vignobles Gabriel & co. — a month ago
