A great Barolo with energy for days. Nose is heavenly spices, tar, roses, oolong tea and dried leaves. Gorgeous nose. 9.7 nose. Palate has so much energy and depth. Perfectly ripe cherries and terrific complex minerals and sauce, ripe tannins. Unreal purity and length. An outstanding wine. — 6 months ago

Deep purple in color (I can only see light through the edges of the glass); cassis, black cherries, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like raspberries, blackberries, hibiscus, wet gravel, and a hint of black pepper with a long fruity finish.
