Fox Den Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022

2022 vintage. Medium body. Fleshy and fruity without much tannic visitation. Possibly better in 2-4 years. A little too fresh currently. 1.23.26. — 2 days ago

Finger Lakes Lemberger 2022

Lemburger can be a bit hit or miss but Fox Run usually coax some deeper flavors out. This one has a nice smoky background along with dark fruits. Probably as god as Lemburger can get in FLX. — 5 months ago

Another new one, unusual Cali Cortese with 12 years. Color on the yellow amber side and nose with mature notes with a touch of oxidation. Balanced on palate — 2 months ago

Durant Vineyard Lark Block Chardonnay 2022

Orchard fruit, citrus.

Like liquid glass in the glass. Glass like precision. Glassiness in its shades.

Delicate. Minerality. Grassy. Herby. Subtle. Lovely.

L. Stone Fox Hill Vineyard Zero Sangiovese

Beautiful expression of the terroir and grape—so alive. Great acidity. Cherry and strawberry primarily. Medium-plus tannins. Chalky earthiness married to faint but heavy flowers—violet and hibiscus. The faintest whiff of cedar and tobacco hits as one drops the glass. — 4 years ago
