Fort Ross-Seaview Chardonnay 2023

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits and blossom and spice, fruit from the Martinelli Charles Ranch, two miles in from the Pacific, aged for 12 months in 25% new oak. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with a touch of zesty lemon, crisp, with nitty vanilla notes. Nice mouthfeel, vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla and citrus mineral character. Nice! — 8 days ago

'Clos du Ciel' Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir 2011

A bit syrupy on the nose but the highish abv is surprisingly well balanced. Lot of blueberry. One of the better Pinots imo but not worth the extra wait and still boring — a month ago

Fort Ross-Seaview Chardonnay 2021

Casemates mystery wine. Used a bit to poach some salmon, and drank the rest with dinner. It was delicious, and complemented dinner perfectly. — 5 months ago

last bottle and it was the best — ever!

opened for an old friend and after battling a broken cork and decanting, it ended up absolutely pristine, darn near flawless. A testament to Fred Scherrer

Golden Mean Fort Ross - Seaview Sonoma County Pinot Noir 2015

Really incredible wine. Not paired with any food, the wine is flavorful, quenching w/ oak flavor adding the right dryness and notes of plum & vanilla to finish - really well balanced and opened well. Bottled was empty far too quickly : ) — 5 years ago
