Fleur Saint Antoine

Château Fleur Cardinale

Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Drinking so well. A great wine and a first for me. It’s got so much freshness and energy is the headline. Nose is cassis, vanilla, tobacco, spice and some hints of black fruits. Also a background of awesome minerality. A plump nose which belies what comes on the palate. It’s rich but just teeming with energy and so much black and red fruit that is super crunchy and luscious. Gorgeous clarity to the minerality and a freshness I haven’t tasted in Bordeaux maybe ever. I really like the vibe of this wine. The finish keeps pumping. Very very impressive. It’s also so sappy on the finish and just outrageously complex. — 3 days ago

Lied. Had the 2019 but it was weird and didn't rate it.

One of my favs! Love White Burgs from the Saint Aubin region. Might want to give this a short decant for the funk to blow off. Medium plus gold color. Camomile, lemon, and hints of butter and unripe melons. Complex and well balanced. Rich, deep wine. Long finish. I’m a buyer if anyone knows where to find some. — a year ago

Château La Fleur Morange

St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2010

Full-bodied and flamboyant; a big, modern-styled Saint Emilion. Wet earth, charred oak, blueberrypie, plums, grilled bellpepper, vanillapods and graphite. Lovely acidity, medium finish.
To drink now and in the next 5 years.
