Found at Trader Joes. It is delicious! — 6 months ago
This wine was purchased for cooking, and as the saying goes, sometimes I even get it in the food. Well, it is quite dry, although a tad oaky. I was in the mood for it, so it didn't bother me at all. I used it in a sauce for a creamy lemon butter pasta dish. It worked just fine, and tasted great, too. In fact, every Line 39 wine I have had has been good. — 2 years ago
Delicious. So smooth. — 4 years ago
Really enjoyed this wine! Super smooth, an very easy to drink. A little fruity without being too sweet. — 6 years ago
Deep purple colors in the glass. Heavy cab with blueberry, vanilla, and tasting notes of earth. Very yummy cab and went perfectly with pot roast. — 7 years ago
13.2%. A perpetual favorite. This vintage seems more fruit driven compared to previous renditions. Quite dark. Cherries, raspberries, cranberries and some tea notes, well integrated tannins and dare I say “smooth” mouthfeel. Sadly/unfortunately in a different prize range compared to a decade ago. 75$ or so. Seems high to me. — 2 months ago
1989 vintage. Last tasted 3 years ago (9.6). Nice fill. Durand used to open. Cork 95% saturated with extensive bottle rim cleaning involved before pouring. Not decanted. Tight, minty nose throughout along with a decided, lingering zinc note under the tongue at the finish line. Tasted 2 hours after opening. Power but without delineation. Just a consistent, forgettable push. Nothing wrong with the wine...it just needed more air/time and a decant but it wasn't my call. Feel like the zinc flavor would have dissipated/blown off with more time. Good but more memorable for what it wasn't vs what it was. Pity and an entire wasting of what could have been. 11.21.25. — 7 months ago
A little strong on the nose, with scents of dark berries, currant and spices.
Drink’s surprising smooth on the palate, with subtle flavors of berries, chocolate and spice…with a linger or spice at the end.
A good deal when on sale at Costco for $9. — 3 years ago

Okay, my natural bias on this wine is that it is generally over rated and over priced. Having said that, this vintage is very good. Reviews should be agnostic to price so I will do my best. This has an over abundance of black fruits jumping out of the glass. But it has enough acid to balance the fruit on the front and mid palette. The finish is shorter than you would like but overall balance between fruit, acid and tannins is very good. The bottom line is, if you asked me if I wanted you to open a ‘12 Caymus, I would say hell yes. Cheers! — 5 years ago
Eric Sussman of radio coteaux produced this. He knows the drill. — 6 years ago
Minerals and hint of mint on the nose. Oak, minerals and fruit (mostly lemon) on the palette. — 7 years ago
At Fung’s dinner with brothers, Duck, meatballs, and noodles. This was firm yet rounded with diary notes minerals and dart fruits well balanced and good with the 8 Treasure Duck — 5 months ago
Opens up nicely. Full bodied and smooth — 6 months ago
In line with the relic. Slightly purple tongue. Fruity, but not overpowering. — 2 years ago
14.8% abv. Tasty. Dark thick fruits taste. Intense but pleasant. — 4 years ago
Really delicious red blend full of all the red jammy fruits. Hints of chocolate and light oak. — 4 years ago
A very reasonably priced bottle. Sadly half of it went to the dish I was cooking, but it was delicious with a slow-cooked pork in wine sauce. — 6 years ago

Super cold this is by far the best. Really thought Elit was but after several with the Russian crowd they are right. — 25 days ago
