Buttery, high acidity, pungent and flavorful. Pairs nicely with seafood. — 3 years ago
The Maximus Gran Reserva Malbec shows plums, cherries, raspberries, black currants, wood, vegetables, spices and black pepper.
Medium plus in body, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and a tangy finish with soft tannins.
Better after an hour of airtime, but good right out of the bottle.
Nice by itself or with food. This six-year-old is drinking very nicely now. Very pleasant.
A blend of 80% Malbec, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Syrah. Aged in French Oak barrels for 18 months.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Just a touch past its prime — 4 months ago
As fresh as a spring daisy on the nose and palate. This hasn’t moved since it was bottled. I’m very impressed.
The nose presents lanolin and lemon oil and fresh-cut flowers. Palate is laser-focused with limes, grapefruit and gravel. Acid structure is pristine, yet powerful. I’m more familiar with BC’s pinots. This isn’t how I recollect the chard to be - wow! I think this is their entry-level offering, too. A very pleasant surprise… age is its friend. — 2 years ago

Has to be one of my all time favorite names for a wine! Very fresh, slight salinity, nice fruit presentation. — 5 years ago
