Very soft dusty rose on the nose. Velvety soft and lush with soft red stone fruit on the palate. Almost no tannins. Light Szechuan peppercorns at the finish, but not frizzante. — 5 years ago

Old skool. Wonderful. Nose is like a young port crossed with lilac jam. Amazingly powerful and beautiful. Palate is blackberries and a hint of chocolate. Sweet and perfectly dense blackberries. Wow.
Too young and needs an hour decant but what a wine.
Man the nose is elegant.
Super traditional.
This wine is like a tank ballerina. Preposterously densely elegant on the nose. Palate is dense big fruit. Spice. Pleasurable. Almost two wines in one. But the nose is l33t.

Nose is vaguely tomatoey
Palate is sweet. A hint of tomato. But has this intense sweet grapiness that is super intense and quite delicious.
A bit alcohol.
Still tannic. — 5 years ago

Huge cherries. I mean Andre the Giant huge. Spice and licorice and lovely accessibly. So friendly. Red cherries. Amazing fruit. Sick nose. How is this so good? Palate is rich and ripe with wonderful structure and sappy black and red fruits and lovely hit of licorice. Spice on the finish as well. Terrific tannins and great acids. Good concentration. Terrific. — 7 years ago
Smells like green pepper. Very smooth, tastes much better at room temp. Cannot taste the pepper flavors otherwise. — 7 years ago
Excellent oxidized/orange from Brickhouse PR — 9 years ago
Fantastic build is almost 9yrs old. Sangratino is the star here…the tannins have rounded, yet the acid and mid-palate weight is perfect. Dark chocolate and raspberry/sweet pomp delight. — 2 years ago
