Big yet smooth. Great for celebrating Christmas! Great holiday times in Palo Alto — 4 years ago
A merlot rosé from Acumen’s Estate vineyard on Atlas Peak, this medium pink wine has loads of strawberry, raspberry, blood orange, cherry and floral aromas and flavors. Crisp acidity helps offset the barest hint of residual sugar. The wine is lovely with spicy foods or dipping on the patio on a dinner afternoon — 4 years ago

One of my favorite Cabs I have ever had. Ages very well, but can be opened right away as well. Similar to Jordan, but more of a mountainside grape. — 6 years ago
Mountainside growing fruits of a nose
Dark and a bit dank - dark cherries, dark plum, Árbol Chile, charcoal, dense, deep, thoughtful.
Helluva wine, this is what I have come to expect in the Rhône of the Americas. Such a value for such a grand character.

Delicious meaty full body tempranillo. Flavors of dark and red fruit with gentle tannins and a hint of red raspberry for some tang. Delightful easy drinking wine with a nice complexity. — 6 years ago
Nose of lemon rind, minerals and wet stones, body medium and lively, good mouthfeel, good acid with pleasant medium finish. — 7 months ago
The description: Chateau Pesquié Quintessence Rouge is a well-rounded blend of Syrah and Grenache grapes, grown in the scenic mountainside vineyards of Ventoux in the Rhone Valley. It boasts an intense ruby-red color and aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, and spices, all of which are complemented by earthy and smoky undertones.
The opinion: Description accurate, but it needs a hunk of red meat or a rich duck sausage dish. It’s ok but better around for the value. — a year ago
Super duper effervescence. Light on fruit, long on rocks. Tasting like a mountainside after lemon rain. Smoother on day 2 with no loss of flavor intensity. — 6 years ago
A welcome familiar face from my bar in NYC that luckily Tim’s Wine in Orlando, Florida carries.
Mineral, mountainside zephyrs, glens of dewy grass, peach in the nose.
Welcome fine, subtle carbonation. Supple grass like a day spent on the great lawn in Central Park in better times.
Peaches and the citrus of a mandarin orange. Love the sweet, creamy mouthfeel.
An ode to beautiful rolling meadows. — 6 years ago
This has all the markings of a mountainside red from volcanic soil, but it’s from the Lisbon seaside and has a subtle power that drives through your palette during a virus that has shut us down. — 6 years ago
Another enjoyable wine from the volcanic mountainside of Mt Etna. Good minerality and bright red fruit. Extremely enjoyable with both pasta and meat courses. — 4 years ago
Mineral bomb. Isabel can smell the ocean — 6 years ago
Good cab flavor. Starts out with good smooth tannins but has a light finish. Still very good. — 7 years ago

Absolute fan of this producer. These are wine of place! Where mountainside cliffs meet the sea and the vines on the cliffs are kissed by the mist of the Cantabrian sea. Their wines have a natural light effervescence a touch of salinity. — 5 months ago
