Above average but maybe not the #1 choice at $80 a bottle. Lots of green and yellow pear. Limestone. Pairs great with oysters. — 2 months ago
Gorgeous and silken, the 2019 Generation Dix-Neuf is a ball of beautiful, silky, concentrated Pinot Noir. Savory and smoky, it seems effortless, although it's clearly been anything but based on the impeccable quality. It caresses the palate. There's intensity and density here but no weight. The 2019 is a very complete wine that's still young. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2024)
