Round, supple, good mouth feel, targeted, small vineyard, but drinks like a big house champagne — 4 years ago

Another beautiful champagne for the price. Crisp and delicious — 4 years ago
Base wine - 2011 vintage. Closed and rather linear, give it time and let it warm up. Brioche-baked sweet apple-spices accord. Lovely work. According to just-released statistics, more champagne was sold in Washington DC this weekend than over the past two years. We are in the other Washington but were happy to join in and our sigh of relief was certainly louder than the nun’s fart released on popping this. — 3 years ago
Here we are again drinking blanc de blanc. Wonderful aged aromas with the remaining crispness of the Chardonnay. — 5 years ago

“Anthoncyanes” is a NV Rosé made in the saignée method from vineyards in Vertus, Le Mesnil and Mont Aimé. Popped and poured; no formal notes. It pours a very pretty light pink color with a persistent mousse and exhibits the brightest, tiniest of little forest strawberries, some lemon, and brioche. This is super dry however, the fruit is so delicious it almost feels round. My second experience with this producer but my first with their Rosé. Very enjoyable stuff and would love to enjoy again. Bottled April 2017. Disgorged June 2022. Dosage: 3.5 g/l. — 8 months ago
