Enjoyed at La Forét in San Jose, CA. — 3 months ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, spice, oak and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry with toasty vanilla oak, pepper and cacao wrapped in lively acidity. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, good structure ending with fruit, cedar, spice and earthy tones. Good value! — 13 days ago
Nose of acacia and some salty air. Green fruit, a slight tartness, very enjoyable. Coats your mouth with lovely fruit and moderate acidity. Having this with a roast chicken. Good value. — a month ago
It’s like almost every Napa chard from a high end producer. It’s good but not amazing. It reminds me of a warm hug. — 2 months ago
Probably not technically as good as it tastes. This is a big, rich, flavorful wine with lots of dark fruit and high in alcohol at 15% which is most noticeable upon opening so let it breathe. I like to just sip it but also enhances food especially roasted red meats and strong cheeses with crusty bread. Wine snobs will undoubtedly be critical but so what! It’s just a good solid inexpensive wine that tastes good. Enjoy! — a month ago
Oddly enough it does connect with you more each time you have some. Most enjoyable to have multiple small servings spread out over the day or a couple days. Not overbearing but still has good body. — 2 months ago
