Rouge-Gorge Coteaux Du Loir Pineau d'Aunis 2022

Complex in an utterly distinctive way. The aroma and palate are dominated by generals and other non-fruits. Then the fruit profiles become more evident. And back and forth … — 4 days ago

'Perles Grises' Coteaux du Vendômois Pineau d'Aunis

A rose sparkler. Prodigious medium course bubbles. A bit of funk on the nose. The palate features tart underripe strawberries, cranberries, grapefruit, white pepper, with a bit of gunpowder appearing late. Medium plus acid, medium alcohol, bone dry, medium finish. — a month ago

L'Opéra Des Vins Concerto Pineau d'Aunis 2021

I think there may be cab franc in this? Strawberries, roses, game, peppers and peppercorn, huge tannin, plums, more peppercorn, long lingering finish. Pretty great wine. I’m guessing better in a couple years. — 7 months ago

Cuvée du Rosier Coteaux du Loir Pineau d'Aunis 2022

My brother likes this, I don’t but will drink it because I’m a good sister! 😖 very light bodied, way too tannic, no fruit on the palate. I’ll open something else for the steak! — 23 days ago

Vieilles Vignes Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Last bottle of the ‘18. It’s pretty much at its peak. Intense limestoney minerality balanced by just enough ripe fruit green apple/citrus pith fruit. A very subtle green herbal note in the background. Round-textured in the mouth initially, u til the intense minerality puts on its geology show-and-tell. Nice acids. A pleasant mouthful of rocks, basically. — 8 months ago
