Tart pie cherries with strawberry to balance has mouth watering acidity — a year ago
Dad likes ok; little too lemony for Mom. — 4 years ago
Happy Halloween to all! No spooky bottles in our cellar, but I do have this delicious rosé!
Prior notes still apply.
A beautiful Kimmeridgian soiled Pinot Noir! Very round and beautiful on the palate, all stainless in the process so very clean fruits. Cherry skin, minor orange zest, green melon, light tannins, very enjoyable strawberry finish, great value as a neighbor to Sancerre for under $15. — 6 years ago
Rouge 100% pinot noir — 5 months ago
Picked up a split of this because all my .375 empties got accidentally thrown out (I use them to store unfinished bottles in the fridge). So I was mostly after the bottle itself but what’s inside happens to be superb—lime, apple and floral notes with fine but not hard edged limestone mineral character, softened perhaps by the clay component of the terroir. I Sancerre-ly enjoyed it! — 4 years ago
100% Loire Valley Pinot Noir. Dark (almost opaque) red color. Earthy nose of mushroom and forest floor with hints of black berry/cherry fruit and violets. The palate is full of ripe red and black berry fruit with touches of mushroom, cola, nutmeg and minerals. Long finish with medium body and bright acidity. Pretty bold and funky. — 8 months ago
Nice dry and acidic sav blanc. — 4 years ago
This is quite delicious. The acidity is mouth coating and lasts some time. The nose is apricots and honey suckle and ripe melon. The mouth is coated with honey suckle and ripe cantaloupe. This was equally good over 2 nights with both salmon and chicken. — 5 years ago
