Echezeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2022

A beauty! But too young and taking the pricetag into consideration…I would go for “cheaper” crus than an Echezeaux — 3 days ago

Still one of my favorite producers. Mature, nuanced and drinking well. Earthy red fruit, spice and delicious. — 2 months ago

Nuits-Saint-Georges Pinot Noir 2014

Such a great village wine that is now in its sweet spot showing lots of ripe red & dark fruit, Vosne spice, earth, mineral & violet — a month ago

Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2020

Delectable Wine
9.3

The 2020 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru is clean and precise on the nose: an enticing mélange of red and black fruit, briar and a touch of aniseed. The palate is sapid on the entry, with wonderful vivacious red cherries and strawberry fruit laced with white pepper and allspice. Real depth and mineralité flood through on the (again) aniseed-tinged finish, completing an impressive wine. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2024)

Vosne-Romanée Pinot Noir 2021

One of the best village wines in the biz, and 2021 is already drinking beautifully, quite different than the richer 19 and 20’s, but soft, pure and seductively elegant with amazing transparency and detail, and a liquid velvet texture. Last sips were the best. Love these wines! — 3 months ago
